Students Across D.C. Graduated Despite Chronic Absences, Investigation Finds
Washington, D.C., school system officials launched their own probe after WAMU and NPR's investigation of Ballou High School. They found that high schools across the district graduated students despite chronic absenteeism and against district policy.
