Shrimp like you've never eaten it before.

Recipe of the Week
Spicy shrimp and grapefruit spinach salad
While I typically prefer to get my hands dirty with shell-on shrimp, I totally see the appeal of having ready-to-eat shrimp for this salad — preparation and cleanup will be fast and easy. Now, I'm not the type of person who cares to go the extra mile to devein shrimp (also, I rarely notice a difference in the taste), but if the vein skeeves you out, go ahead and remove it.
If I'm being honest, I don't really care for grapefruit. It's a bit too sour for my liking. But that's the beauty of cooking! You can swap ingredients based on your personal preferences or what you have in your fridge. In this case, I'll forgo the grapefruit and add orange slices instead. And instead of spinach, I tend to prefer kale or romaine as my base green. To each their own!

Cuisinart 14-Cup Food Processor
Cuisinart 14-Cup Food Processor
This is probably the most versatile tool in my kitchen. Every morning, I use it to blend frozen berries with protein powder and almond milk. It quickly dices up whole dried peppers when I need smaller flakes to use in a chili crisp. And homemade salad dressing is emulsified and ready within seconds. If you have to choose between a food processor and a blender, personally, I would recommend the processor — particularly this one that I have!
