Dinner is my favorite meal, so I tend to prepare a filling snack, which 98% of the time includes bread. Sure, if you are gluten-free or don't eat gluten or if you live with diabetes, you may need to be mindful of the type and quantity of bread you choose. But in the majority of cases, bread can absolutely be included in a healthy diet! | I'm not going to waste your time mansplaining how to make toast. That would just be silly. Instead, I'm going to share some of the toppings and spreads I use when I need a quick, light bite: | - eggs, cottage cheese, and pickled red onion
- strawberry jelly and plain cream cheese
- tomato, garlic confit, and sardines
- granola butter, sliced bananas, and honey
- everything bagel seasoning and chive and onion cream cheese
- cottage cheese and tomato
