A classic lasagna to layer into your life
Before you come at us calling this dish "unhealthy," remember that a balanced diet can include fat- and carb-rich meals — as long as they're not an everyday thing. For added nutrients, you can lightly saute some veggies on the side and add them to a layer of the lasagna before you put it in the oven. We recommend trying a mix of mushrooms, onions, zucchini, carrots, and bell peppers.
Otherwise, the only real prep involved is slicing the provolone and layering the ingredients in the baking dish. (Total bake time is an hour, so don't take on this project if you need immediate sustenance.)

Diet culture likes to demonize cheese, but this lavish ingredient isn't purely for pleasure. Cheese, including Parmesan, is exceptionally high in two nutrients we often don't get enough of: protein and calcium. It's also rich in medium- and short-chain fatty acids, which may reduce the risk of inflammatory diseases, type 2 diabetes, obesity, and heart disease.
With its unique nutty flavor, Parmesan has been a crowd favorite for at least 1,000 years. Yes, it is high in fat and calories, but there's no reason to swear off Parm for good. As with all good things, moderation is the key.

What we're using
''I have a large family, and this appliance is a lifesaver. We use this toaster oven/air fryer daily. It's very versatile and can cook a lot of food at once. It also helps my family eat healthier meals. The feature I like the most is the grill. I grill burgers, wings, and pork chops, and they come out perfect. My teen boys love baking individual-sized pizzas and air frying french fries and chicken strips for a quick snack.''
