If you’re a budding entrepreneur, a business owner, or just curious about how big business ideas got their start – consider this your call to action… and inspiration. This May, we’re bringing the annual How I Built This Summit to you. Hosted by Guy Raz of the How I Built This podcast, our Summit gathers a community of like-minded builders for the third official thought-festival-meets-skill-building-workshop that the New York Times once called “a haven for inspiration.” And we promise to make you forget you’re at your computer at home. With four days of extraordinary interviews with some of the most iconic names in the entrepreneurial world, you can expect to hear how: - Gary Vaynerchuck became a serial entrepreneur - and now the CEO of (at least) four empires, including Resy and Empathy Wines - from his start selling baseball cards and lemonade.
- Brené Brown, a five-time #1 bestselling author - and the storyteller behind one of the most-viewed TED Talks of all-time - speaks on courage, vulnerability, shame, and empathy.
- Racial justice organization Color Of Change, led by Rashad Robinson and driven by more than 7 million members, uses innovative strategies to bring about systemic change in the industries that affect Black people’s lives.
- The ways in which the workplace has fundamentally changed and what we can do to build happy, high-functioning organizations from Adam Grant, host of the Work Life podcast and author of Think Again.
In addition to main stage interviews, Summit attendees get access to smaller group sessions facilitated by some of the greatest names in entrepreneurship, like Cathy Hughes (Urban One), Sal Khan (Khan Academy), Pat Brown (Impossible Foods), Nancy Twine (Briogeo), Sadie Lincoln (barre3), Chieh Huang (Boxed) and more. With breakout sessions designed to help you build and grow your support network, we’re offering all the meaningful connections and gutsy insight that you need to craft your own success story.
