Support Vital Reporting Today

Donate to your local NPR station
Delivering rigorous, fact-based, and context-rich journalism to our audiences across the nation, has never been more important. While the COVID-19 crisis is forcing us all to find new ways of working, we are one NPR and remain committed to delivering high-quality journalism to our audience.

When I became NPR’s CEO last fall, no one could have predicted what the world would be like today. So much about everyday life has changed over the last several weeks.

Seeing NPR and the public radio network rise up and meet our audience’s needs has been one of the most humbling experiences of my career and I am proud to stand alongside this amazing team

Our journalists have launched brand new shows dedicated to covering the Coronavirus in record time. They have brought you profiles on people grappling, adjusting and being resilient in the face of uncertainty. They continue critical investigative reporting that holds those in power accountable. And they’ve done all this while working from quickly assembled recording studios in their homes to bring you the news.

Today is #GivingTuesdayNow, a day during this unprecedented time when communities everywhere are donating to the issues and causes that matter to them.

You may not know this, but you are part of the community that powers public radio. NPR and our network of local stations around the country are made possible because of donations from people like you. If you’re in a position to do so, make a donation today and support the critical coverage on which you and so many others rely.

This is a difficult time across news media of all kinds at a moment when access to trusted information matters more than ever.

Today, I feel fortunate to have you on our side. You are, of course, the reason we do what we do. Our commitment to you remains unchanged.

You play a vital role in funding the critical reporting that keeps you informed, the voices that keep you company, and the conversations that keep you connected to your community.

If you can, please help us meet our mission and serve you by giving to your local NPR station today.
