Democrats sought to make a point about their desire to provide more money for Americans than congressional Republicans — picking up an attack line from none other than President Trump.
The legislation appears unlikely to advance in the Senate within the current Congress, but President-elect Joe Biden has committed to seeking more relief when the new administration and new Congress are sworn in next month. |
