Diet sodas are bad for your waistline. New research shows that colas made with sucralose – a sweetener in most diet sodas – may stimulate the appetite. That means after drinking a diet soda, you're likely to be extra hungry and eat more food – and therefore (you guessed it) probably gain more weight.
How about a four-day workweek every, single week? Yes please and thank you. But before we get excited, is that even a possibility? It actually is and it wouldn't be the first time the workweek got a makeover (it used to be 6 days long – yipes!).
Oh the gas stove – how many of us cooks love to love you. But there's a dark side to that pretty blue light that makes cooking so quick and easy: Burning gas emits pollutants that can cause or worsen respiratory illnesses.
